The only hiccup I had was I powered it up prior to installing the glass. As a result the button on the glass were not functioning. After a quick call to Dimplex they explained that the glass must be installed to properly calibrate to the glass. Installer error but a quick easy fix.

Fireplace is exactly as expected. Fireplace was shipped within 1 day of order and received within 5 days, from halfway across the country. The box was slightly beaten up but fireplace was well protected inside the box. Great delivery service, however, one piece of hardware was missing from the hardware bag included in the box, an angle bracket to hold the front glass in. This is the manufacturer's counting issue, not the fault of the seller. So please inventory all the pieces in the box after you receive it in case you need to call the manufacturer or seller regarding missing pieces. I would buy from them again.
If you’re going to install an E fireplace behind granite, stone, etc. this is the one for you! Think about it if you’re gonna spend all the money to have a wonderful centerpiece of a fireplace on a remodel or whatever using granite, stone and tile or whatever. Do you want to go with a company that has a legacy and it’s gonna be around for spare parts it was really hard for me to pull the trigger for this E fireplace. It took me several tries and cancels, etc. but I did it for my major remodel. this fireplace will look very realistic and I can get spare parts for it because it’s backed by a major manufacturer. I look forward to actually seeing the results, but I am confident that this manufacture is quality. I am confident money well spent!
